All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness,
The Bible was written over a 1500-year time span by 40 different authors from every class.
Moses-a political leader trained in Egypt
Peter-a fisherman
Luke-a doctor
Solomon-a king
Matthew-a tax collector
Paul-a rabbi or religious teacher
It was written in different places. Jeremiah wrote in prison. Daniel wrote on a hillside and in a palace.
Luke wrote while traveling. David wrote while at war.
People who never met each other and spoke different languages wrote it in Asia, Africa, and Europe.
The Bible talks about hundreds of controversial subjects (subjects that people will disagree about- for example marriage, family,
ethics, sex, money, and many other topics.) but still all of the writers of the Bible agree.
